Rehousing Technosphere plot

In a distant future, life is trying to adapt to a new Earth climate. The various life forms are working on a dying layer of the earth's crust. They dig, search for food and create new habitats. Life thrives among the remains of the Anthropocene, and what is poisonous to one species can be a boon to another.
