Shigatsu ni Nareba Kanojo Wa plot

Shun is a psychiatrist at a university hospital in Tokyo. He is engaged to Yayoi. One day in April, when he is about to marry Yayoi, he receives a letter from his first love Haru. They dated ten years ago. Suddenly his fiancée Yayoi disappears.

Nice video.

It's sometimes a bit of a search for good romantic films, but this one really appealed to me. Perhaps because it also handles the subject matter a bit more seriously, although more films have been released this way in Japan in recent years. In any case, the film strikes a nice balance with the more dramatic elements, without becoming a full-blown relationship drama.

Good acting, but also very beautiful cinematography, a great soundtrack, and a well-structured film, with a few minor mystery elements thrown in. It's not a film that stands out for anything in particular, but rather one that simply does everything very neatly and above average, without any weaknesses.
