The Taste of Freedom plot

Varya, a young passionate cook, sells her dishes at a gas station in the province, where her talent goes unnoticed. She decides to change scenery and tries her luck in Lviv, where she gets an opportunity in a prestigious restaurant. There she must not only face the ruthless competition of her colleague Lesya, but also prove her cooking style. Fortunately, she finds an old Ukrainian cookbook in her new apartment and gets help from her neighbor Taras and the ghost of the deceased writer Olga Franko. With their help, she manages to reinterpret the almost forgotten Ukrainian national cuisine and establish it in the restaurant.

Draken, predictable, cliché fairy tale for six-year-olds with a kind of Disney princess who can't act. Too bad, because beautiful images but they really couldn't save the film. I find it a mystery that this is rated so highly.
