Antoine Mercier was fired as human resources director at a do-it-yourself chain. He has been a stay-at-home dad for two years and takes care of his four children. His wife Isabelle is very busy as a lawyer. His brother-in-law suggests that they go on holiday with the whole family to a luxurious hotel in Courchevel. But just before departure, Isabelle's office asks if she can plead a case now that a colleague has dropped out. It is unexpected and highly inconvenient, but she has ambition and allows her husband to leave for the French Alps with the four children.
