Adam, who has been in prison for murder, is finally released and returns to his old neighborhood after sixteen years. He visits his son Jimmy, who grew up without him. At the same time, Eli, the brother of the man killed by Adam, seeks revenge. Meanwhile, Mike, fed up with doing his drug-dealing Uncle Leff's dirty work, is desperate to leave his dirty life behind. When Adam and Mike's paths collide, inescapable fate gives way to violence and a final, fleeting chance at redemption.
