Einstein and the Bomb plot
Albert Einstein, the most famous scientist in the world, is on the run in 1933. He has no choice but to leave his German homeland as Adolf Hitler seizes power and begins the systematic persecution of the Jewish population. The world celebrity eventually ends up in a wooden hut in a field in Norfolk. The English place and period marks a turning point in his life as his relationship with the mightiest of all inventions - the atomic bomb - is defined. The life of one of the greatest thinkers of the twentieth century is portrayed using dramatic scenes, archive images and personal letters and interviews with Einstein.
