Les Poings Serrés plot
11-year-old Lucien lives a secluded life with his mother and older brother in the Ardennes. To avoid questions about his interned father, he keeps a low profile and avoids contact with others. When Lucien's grandmother dies, his father is allowed to attend the funeral. Seeing his grieving father, handcuffed and protected from the village's wrath, upsets him. Lucien decides to contact his father again, against the advice of those around him, and thus risks losing everything.
