Paria plot
Samuel (35) and Sara (33) fled Ghana with their daughter Faith (15). As a police officer, Samuel was on the trail of a corruption scandal, but since then his life has become uncertain. Finally, after years of waiting, they are offered a home in the Netherlands. Their new home is in an affluent neighborhood just outside the city. The young family is amazed when they enter the beautiful, large house: could they finally start over here? However, their happiness turns out to be short-lived, because as soon as Samuel starts to observe terrifying events, this house turns out to be the start of a disturbing new nightmare.

Cheaply put together thriller. Far over the top. Samuel is by far the best acting as the father of a family. Even though he worked as a former police officer from his country of origin and had a good sense of things, he was not believed. Nice to see Miechiel Kerbosch again after his roles as Wegwijspiet and pizza baker.
