Pepê is a widowed black teacher who decides to remarry Tina, a divorced chef. When the two broken individuals unite, they decide to spend Christmas together, with their respective children. However, one of the children, little Nina, is upset and wishes Christmas would disappear. Her wish is surprisingly granted and the concept of Christmas disappears from the world. Since the members of the Pinheiro Lima family are the only ones who remember the festive event, they decide to do everything in their power to recreate the holiday.
