Adam Change Lentement plot

Teenagers are impressionable, but Adam more so than most. When he visits his grandmother in the hospital for a final farewell, she croaks her last words, a comment about his "long torso", which literally stretches his torso. It's been that way for Adam's entire life. Whenever his body is mocked, it contorts to reflect the insensitive comments of family members and the targeted venom of teenage peers. His physical transformations are in some ways the least of his worries as he tries to navigate teenage life in late '90s Quebec, complete with an impossible crush, pool parties, summer jobs and a bit of existential dread.
