The Family Plan plot
Dan Morgan loves his quiet life as a devoted husband, father of three and successful car salesman. However, that's half the story. Decades earlier, he was an elite government assassin tasked with eliminating the world's deadliest threats. When enemies from his past track him down, Dan packs his unsuspecting wife, teenage teenage daughter, pro-gamer teenage son and adorable ten-month-old baby into their minivan and heads off on an impromptu cross-country trip to Las Vegas. Determined to protect his family - while treating them to the vacation of a lifetime - Dan must use his long-dormant skills without revealing his true identity.

a very nice film with action and indeed comedy, as the genre of the film indicates.
don't forget to watch during the credits (some nice bits)
an elite assassin who tries to have a normal family life but is confronted by his dark past.
Well, how do you get out of here if your "family" doesn't know anything...

Nice film about a father with a happy family life who carries a secret with him. Not the most original plot for this action comedy. The dynamics within the family are nicely developed and the cast knows how to make it fun. The film is easy to watch, but could have been a bit shorter.

Apple recently increased the price of its streaming service to provide better quality. Then they shouldn't come up with these kinds of films! This shows enormous mediocrity, something like a menu from MacDonalds: bite-sized, fatty food. It's easy to look away, Wahlberg and Monaghan certainly make a nice couple. There's a baby for fun, a bunch of teenage kids and a load of retarded thugs. The simplistic story offers enough tools for a nice action scene here and there and, above all, a lot of bad jokes.
It all takes just too long, why does this have to take 2 hours? If you want to see a fun film with the same theme, choose “Nobody” (2021), which I have already watched twice with great pleasure. I understand that Apple is going for the mainstream, the general public, and they won't get there with just films like “Killers of the Flower Moon”. As a light snack, or as a greasy snack if you prefer, this is great and then quickly forgotten.
