I'd Love to Take Orders from You plot
A scarecrow comes home and his son scares him. On the title song he teaches his son the basics of being a scarecrow. Then it's bedtime for the little one. He prays that he can become a great scarecrow like his father. The next morning he sneaks out before anyone is awake and practices scaring a rooster, a squirrel, and a rabbit.
