An ode to The Jazz Singer with Al Jolson. Here, it's little Owl Jolson who loves to sing jazz, but is kicked out of the house by his father because he doesn't play quality classical music. An early Merrie Melodies, with plenty of story without the then-typical slow tempo or stale jokes.
