The Last Stop in Yuma County plot
"Never bring a knife salesman to a gunfight."
A knife seller is in the cafe where Charlotte works. At the same time, brothers Beau and Travis are forced to make a stop at the diner. The seller immediately finds them suspicious, especially because their car is being reported in the media as a robbery. The brothers know they have been recognized, but decide to keep up appearances. Meanwhile, other residents of the town find their way to the cafe.

Nice film, indeed a kind of decoction of Fargo, with a bit of black humor, I enjoyed it. Not a new Fargo but definitely worth it....

As noted earlier, it does indeed look a bit like Fargo, but that is a compliment and recommendation rather than a reproach.
I thought it was a nice movie, good story, without too much effort of "who's who?" easy to follow and above all: it remained unpredictable.
Just give me a few more....

Nice crime thriller, carefully constructed and directed, with an excellent cast. In terms of atmosphere, the film is somewhat reminiscent of the work of the Coen brothers, with a similar mixture of tension and understated humor. The script could have been a bit more surprising here and there, but at an hour and a half the film is just long enough to keep you interested until the end. In any case, a much-promised debut from director Francis Galluppi.

Best een lekker filmpje ondanks dat het verhaal zich vrijwel alleen maar afspeelt in een diner/tankstation. De ietwat broeierige sfeer zorgt voor ruim voldoende spanning en dat je het einde niet wil missen. 3,5/5
