A group of college friends snag a cheap Airbnb for the biggest music festival of the year. A party-like weekend quickly takes a nasty turn when the friends are murdered one by one. They soon discover that each of their deaths directly corresponds to one of the seven deadly sins.

Director Marcus Dunstan's previous work was much more serious, but with #AMFAD All My Friends Are Dead he goes completely in the cheesy direction. A world is built with exaggerated characters, exaggerated murders and a lot of blows to the contemporary social media culture. The idea is understandable, but the makers still get away with it a bit too easily. The murders are also embellished with animated effects that do not benefit the whole. The plot twists towards the end are also almost ridiculous and the acting is not great, but Dunstan goes double and thick on entertainment and that is effective. Entertaining trifle with enough pace, but little quality.
