In 2024, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) paid out $2.46 billion to some 82,000 victims of sexual abuse. Founded in 1910, the BSA acquired a spotless image. This ended when Michael Johnson, who had been appointed the BSA's Youth Protection Director in 2010, discovered that the BSA had been covering up sexual abuse by Scout leaders since its founding. This documentary destroys the BSA's image, despite the astonishing attempt by BSA spokesman Steven McGowan to downplay the matter.
