Excellent short film about a man who can see without using his eyes. Clearly another Wes Anderson film. Still original, especially because of how theatrical it looks visually (the changes in the sets and the actors playing multiple roles). An entertaining story by Roald Dahl and the pace is quite high.

Not so special this monotonous chatter and visually typical Wes Anderson. It doesn't do much for me, although it is very imaginative and enjoyable to watch. Dahl's absurdist fable that money doesn't buy happiness also offers no innovative insights or twists, which made it all seem a bit whiny to me.

Okay.

Typical Wes Anderson production and that always means the same thing: lots of visual embellishment, lots of details and nice frills. Decors as if they were illustrations from a Roald Dahl book. But also a lot of chatter. A bit too much, which makes it a good thing that this is not a 2-hour film. There are often witty comments or cynical things, but I'm not a fan of endless chatter, especially when it involves playing directly with the camera. But I do think I can continue to enjoy Anderson's visual style endlessly.
