Ser Ser Salhi plot
Seventeen-year-old She is a shy shaman who goes by the name Grandpa Spirit and also dresses up as one. He tries to help the downtrodden and weak of his community with the help of his ancestral spirit. He also takes his school studies seriously so that he can compete in the tough, modern society. Sixteen-year-old lonely Maralaa suffers from congenital heart disease and asks him for help. The two become enthralled by each other.

17-year-old Zé [Tergel Bold-Erdene] is the best boy in class. He speaks the truth, respects the elderly and has little interest in new modern technology. In addition to his studies, he makes himself available as a shaman. He uses traditional clothing and a ritual to contact an ancient spirit who can predict the future. Maralaa [Nimin-Erdene Ariunbyamba] is about to undergo heart surgery and is reluctantly subjected to Zé's ritual by her mother [Tsend-Ayush Nyamsuren]. Despite the difference in background, a romance develops between the two and Zé gets to know the world he had closed himself off to until then. And that is not without consequences. A simple love story as a metaphor for the clash between traditional Mongolian culture and modern times.
