After a night of partying, rudderless bachelor Juan and his best friend David play a game of hints on the roof of their building. When they execute a clue too forcefully, David falls off the roof dead. His body hits the top of a car and shatters into a thousand porcelain pieces. Surprisingly, no one seems shocked by the incident. Taking the investigation into his own hands, Juan unravels a corporate plot that has involved his entire life - a maze of familial deceptions, fickle friendships, insurance fraud and an epidemic of pianos falling from the sky for no reason. Not to mention, Juan's best friend has always been a golem.
