Typical Hoon-jung Park movie. Necessary action and dry humor are present again. Not as strong as the previous movies, but definitely worth watching. English spoken parts I found unnecessary but good.

Another beautifully stylized bloodbath by Korean director Hoon-Jung Park, packed with energetically depicted action scenes and nasty settlements. This time a little more humor than we are used to from him, but luckily this turns out mostly well. Only towards the finale (and during the end credits) does everything become a bit too bland. Lead actor Kang Tae-Ju is unremarkable in the lead role, but Kim Seon-Ho as a flamboyant villain goes all out and is a pleasure to watch.

Reasonable action movie. The story is simple, but ultimately not quite what it seems, which makes it original. The effect can continue. The film has a nice pace and contains a fair amount of violence and also offers sufficient tension. The constant running away of protagonist Kang, out of breath, becomes a bit disturbing at a certain point. Fortunately, Kim and Go play better roles in return. Visually the film is well put together. 3.0/3.5
