When Vos and Haas and their friends notice that the water of the stream is rising, turning into a river and then a lake that keeps getting bigger, they must find a solution. But that's not easy. When Owl disappears and everyone starts acting like he's in charge of the forest, the problems only get worse. How can they save the forest?

After the first signs of a flood appear in the forest, Owl [Remko Vrijdag] goes to investigate. Soon after, his friends go looking for him. Fox [Iliass Ojja] and Hare [Sigrid ten Napel] decide to sail out onto the lake in a bathtub and discover that Beaver [Alex Klaassen] has built a dam with a play palace and all the other things that make life pleasant. And Beaver has no intention of breaking down the dam. Halberstad's successor to Knor is a disappointment. The animation is flat and uninspired, the story is messy and the use of regional dialects to create a caricature is very outdated. Incidentally, the original version is spoken in English and stars Dan Skinner, Teresa Gallagher and Rob Rackstraw.
