Bully High plot
Because she wears a hijab, the Pakistani exchange student Maryam is bullied at the college by the most popular girl in the class. The film seems to be a collection of more or less separate events that are stuck together. The ending is weak, because too good to be true. A film about bullying, prejudice, racism and coming out deserves a better approach. Undoubtedly well-intentioned, but still…
