Dasara plot
Young Dharani steals coal for a living and lives with his grandmother in Veerlapally. He drinks a lot of alcohol and gets caught up in family problems. He spends most of his time with his best friends Suri and Vennela. Dharani loves Vennela since their childhood, but later learns that Vennela loves Suri. So he sacrifices his love for her and decides to get the two married. However, their relationship is opposed by Vennela's mother, Ramanamma, as Suri is involved in stealing coal.
