Four women embark on what they consider a hard-earned road trip to Cancún. Although they are fundamentally different from each other, they have one thing in common: their lives have fallen asleep. These late thirties and early forties are saddened to see how they have ended up in a petty bourgeois rut. The rebellious friends take an adventurous ride along the Caribbean coast together. They may follow directions, but not rules.

Very nice Spanish (Mexican) road movie with four cool ladies who were clearly looking forward to it. Humor was never forced. Reminds me of the Sex in the City 2 movie. And since I love road movies, I certainly won't be short of anything. They fall from one situation to the next, which ensures enough variety and locations. Had a good time with this movie. Fits perfectly as an addition to my Spanish lessons, because Mexican is always easier to understand. To be seen on Netflix. You must like Spanish comedy. 4*
