Little Bone Lodge plot
During a violent storm, brothers Jack and Matty find themselves in the rural part of Scotland. Since Jack is injured, they seek help at a farm. There they meet Mama, the lady of the house, and her daughter and her handicapped father. Initially they are cordial and the woman helps the injured man, but the situation takes a dark turn when Jack regains his strength.

Little Bone Lodge benefits from a few unexpected plot twists and solid acting by Joely Richardson, but the middle section is far too tedious to be entertaining. Director Matthias Hoene demonstrates a basic level of experience, resulting in a reasonably tight visual whole. On the other hand, the film doesn't really stand out in any particular way and actually starts to bore after about half an hour. The camerawork as well as the atmosphere are not memorable enough, and once the finale arrived, I had actually lost the plot a bit.
