Comandante plot
Salvatore Todaro is the captain of the submarine Cappellini that sets sail in the year 1940. Both the ship and the crew are well armed against possible enemies. On Todaro's orders, a Belgian merchant ship sailing under British authority is sunk. The captain himself ignores orders from above to save the other crew members from drowning.
