Shindisi plot
"The true story you should know."
In 2008, war broke out between Russia and Georgia over the self-proclaimed republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Shindisi is a lovely rural village. One day, the population panics when they hear that the Russians are approaching. All the people flee, except for two families: the old Badri with his ailing wife Khatia and the drunken Vazja with his teenage daughter Mariam. In the meantime, a nearby Georgian military unit hears that a ceasefire will be called. They could evacuate without any problems. But then they run into the Russians.
