No Hard Feelings is such a wonderful film of which too few are made. But I already knew from the makers of the Good Boys that this film had to be okay. The humor is wonderfully raw and contemporary. Especially that woke party is wonderfully finished. Combined with the physical humor you get a film that meets all my wishes. Not that it's all blandness, because the film is serious enough not to get too vulgar and really tells a sincere story. This is mainly because of Jennifer Lawrence. She normally plays fairly serious roles and therefore she can handle this part of the film very well. But she can also put this aside and can handle the (physical) humor just fine. She exposes herself figuratively and especially literally in this film. I never expected that. What a ballsy move on her part. She hasn't gone more naked than this on film.
I also read above that it never gets too weighty and scatters too many plot lines. I agree with that. There is never any real surprise and it never gets exciting towards the end. But you're just watching a wonderfully crude comedy with a heart and a feel-good feeling. Give me more of this kind of movie.

Mediocre film that never surprises but is saved by Lawrence himself, who can handle these kinds of roles very well and especially knows how to touch me. Then you quickly come up with a film, no matter how weak the plot is. The film never gets really funny except with those two parents, especially Broderick (I didn't even recognize him at first) turns out to have remarkably good comic timing. The film is not really boring, but it also never manages to captivate or splash. 3.0*.

By far the weakest film in the Jennifer Lawrence repertoire. The successful jokes can be counted on the fingers of one hand. The rest is nothing more than an ordinary comedy with a silly story. The performance is correspondingly, Miss Lawrence notwithstanding.
