Het Geheugenspel plot

Nathalie's body is found on the estate of the Deridder family; the then only 16-year-old daughter who disappeared 25 years ago. The gruesome find puts an end to years of uncertainty, but also brings to light a long-hidden crime. When family secrets are uncovered, the present is overshadowed by the past and nothing will ever be the same again.

the memory game

A lesser version of the Dutch film 'Daylight', it lacks the tension, but it is a beautiful film, quite intriguing and a number of twists, and the actress Anna Drijver has not been seen for a while.

Wow, how bad! Totally no build up of tension, annoying music and actors who were reading aloud.

A kind of Baarle-Nassau, but in film form.

For the opening titles, they clearly cheated at Basic Instinct.

Weird acting. Well, strange...just bad.

[moans] [gasps] ..so nice also those subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing in 'erotic' scenes.

Unnatural sentences that are not spoken language but written language, such as the brother in the car: "A respected man who, despite everything, still loves you dearly." Who talks like that?

Having read the book in the distant past, thought it was a lousy book: far-fetched plot, you can go too far in that too. A protagonist suffering from amnesia, a demented mother... so the possibilities are endless, of course.

That woke/anti-woke discussion with her father who is a well-known writer and is interviewed in a room full of people... oh oh how bad. So uncomfortable too, just like Freek de Jonge at the Boekenbal.

Two funerals in 1 film, also a bit too much.

Hélène Hendriks as herself.

Flashbacks with blurry vignetting, as if I still don't get it after 1 time.
