The Spaniard's Curse plot
Guy Stevenson is a British man of Spanish descent wrongly convicted of murder. After receiving the death penalty, he casts a curse on the judge and jury. Two of the jurors then die mysteriously and suspicion falls on Stevenson, but he himself also dies. The judge and his cousin Margaret try to solve the mystery and expose the real killer.

Intelligent thriller for its time about 'the Spaniard's curse'. The whole is built up from a number of unfortunately somewhat one-dimensional types, where it is all about seeing and seeing through linked to the media at that time. Patterson and Wright are well placed in the society of that time. Beaumont is a pleasant appearance.
