"He Came From Nowhere & Killed a Man He'd Never Seen!"
Atheist Irish-American writer James Mulcahy arrives in an Irish village and, for his own amusement, tells the inhabitants that their God does not exist and that their religion is a farce. Drunk, Mulcahy gets into a brawl. Rev. Carey is called to calm things down, but Mulcahy defies God to kill him with a thunderbolt to prove He exists. Suddenly a stranger appears and shoots Mulcahy dead. The man, dubbed Johnny Nobody by the press, claims he heard a silent voice telling him to kill.

The fact is quite interesting; a man tries to convince the deeply religious residents of an Irish village that God does not exist and is shot by an unknown man who says that God has given him the order to stop the Blasphemous Man.
The man is considered a hero by the village and they do not want this man to be convicted.
The village pastor does not trust it and investigates and discovers strange things.

A fascinating fact in itself; the film starts well, but the second part of the film is ridiculous and implausible.
Too bad, because with a better story this could make for an extremely fascinating film.
