"It's never too late for second chances."
Scott Beck's life doesn't go according to plan. He works as a janitor at the high school where he was once the star of the basketball team. Scott struggles with caring for an ailing father, car trouble and his memories of Ryan, the girl he loved long ago. But he gets another chance when Ryan, now the owner of the Knoxville Silver Knights, decides to hold open auditions for the team. Scott tries to make the impossible possible by not only getting on the team, but winning back the woman he loves.
