Max is an ex-marine with head trauma. He struggles to live a normal life as a suburban father. After his family is killed, Max becomes numb and wants revenge. His target is Ellis, a hardened criminal trying to revive his career while dealing with a scrupulous crime boss and incompetent accomplices. Santiago, a detective frustrated with the justice system and going through a midlife crisis following the divorce of his wife and two sons, also becomes entangled in the lives of Max and Ellis. All are looking for justice.
