Solid picture about juvenile delinquency and homosexuality, not an obvious combination within this setting. Solid, but not very convincing. Not necessarily unbelievable, but it all didn't make much sense to me. Very mediocre, somewhat soulless. A film that I will soon remember little.
The choice of title, on the other hand, is well thought out. It just depends on what you consider paradise, regaining freedom outside, but without your loved one or the opposite. Great sobering ending too. That's why a narrow 3.0*.

A nice film, but not a high-flyer. The actors do their best and play well to good, but they are given little room for real dialogue. Often little or nothing is said.
The setting is beautifully depicted, such a youth detention in Belgium. Sometimes I didn't think the supervisors' reactions were very professional. Immediately imposing a sanction if someone 'slaps' someone else would be a different approach, but whatever.
It was just worth watching, but don't expect too much.
