Jessica is a young, up-and-coming Hollywood filmmaker who has made a name for herself directing Christmas movies. But when hunky network executive Christopher shows up and threatens to halt production on her latest movie, Jessica's assistant Reena points out the irony: Jessica isn't just trying to save her Christmas movie, she's living it. Jessica now has to juggle all the classic features - actors falling in love, a quirky elf dog, and her own romantic feelings for her supposed nemesis. A standard entertaining Christmas film with some nice moments, but just not enough to give the film a high rating. The concept is nicely thought out. This is a comedic look at Christmas movies, and how they ultimately turn out. In most cases, there is intentionally bad acting, and the viewer is particularly disturbed by the character of Anissa Borrego. Remarkably enough, the actress uses her real voice in this case. Hate it or love it.
