Dojo plot

Brandon does odd jobs for Billy, the leader of a local youth gang. When he breaks into a judo school with his best friend Stefano, he is caught by the judo teacher Kai. Brandon gets a chance to get out of the gang and train for an important judo competition. But he does not want to lose Stefano, who has also joined the gang. It is becoming increasingly difficult to make the right choices.

I had to get used to the street language at first, as I am a few generations older.

still quite a surprisingly nice film

quite a few familiar faces including Leona Philippo, Glen Faria

but the lead actor didn't do too badly either.
