Resurrecting a Legend plot

On June 6, 1944, a Douglas C-47 Skytrain was the first aircraft to cross the Normandy coastline during D-Day to drop paratroopers. Decades later, historian Matt Scales discovers an airplane in a Wisconsin garden and begins to suspect that it is the historic first airplane. He then does everything he can to prove himself right and find the means to restore the plane.
