Twenty-year-old art student David comes to Barcelona looking for an opportunity. Gràcia, a lonely man in his sixties, offers him free room and board in exchange for his company. From the start, however, their life together is explosive and a battle of wills ensues. Neither is intimidated, though Gràcia is in control. Will they realize in time that they need each other?
