"An explosive comedy"
Johan is a loner with a horse and a flair for explosives, who is never fully admitted into the warmth of the local community. We follow his struggle to belong in his hometown and the lifelong, unrequited love for the girl next door, which he accidentally inflated during his childhood.

"Nothing resists your father's pipe wrench" (according to Johan's mother, somewhere in the eighth minute).
Great Norwegian comedy with ditto typical humour. Occasionally dramatic, but always accompanied by enough humorous elements. Hagen once again puts down a great character. Filmed in a beautiful setting. The music and vocals also fit very well; "that's how it is!".
