What a strong directorial debut from Michael B. Jordan!!!
I was still unsure about this movie, without Sylvester Stallone.
But actually I don't think it's that bad.
Film continues, strong story, good actors.
& speaking of that directorial debut, I'm really surprised how well he did 
Very happy with this movie!!! Big 4 stars

I found the first Creed very mediocre (like all films by director Coogler), the second was a lot better (with a different director) so I was curious about this one. Now directed by Michael B. Jordan himself. He is a reasonable actor, anyway he comes across as sympathetic and he has a decent appearance, but he also shows little special. Just like his directing, it turns out now. It is solid, but also very solid, with the weak script and the usual structure of the Rocky and Creed films not really helping either. I mean, would Jordan decide to fight again at 2/3 of the movie, will we see some shots of a tough training and will he go down somewhere in the match and still manage to get up? Just, just some questions you ask yourself during such a film.
What kills the film is the extremely heavy tone. I can have quite a lot of clichés, but if you make such a serious film then they quickly disturb. Or do they even become laughable. Especially the first hour is quite slow. Visuals are boring, music (except for the opening with Dr. Dre with an extended intro) mostly mediocre hip-hop and the drama remains extremely superficial. The chemistry between Jordan and Thompson has also disappeared. Majors is a nice antagonist but not very special either.
The second hour is more fun, then the boxing is more central and that all looks okay and looks away easily. But that's about it. 2.0*.

Yesterday I went to the cinema with my son.
Well…. What can be surprising after 1 and 2….
Disappointed anyway. If so, Sly wasn't there. And that made the film in terms of atmosphere.
The story is sweetly sweet in a nutshell.
And I don't know what the added value of the poet who is deaf is. Mss a precursor to Creed IV where he will train his daughter... I also don't see his wife who can no longer sing herself.
