That's Amor plot

Sofia is about to turn thirty when she suddenly finds herself without a job. To make matters worse, Sofia also discovers that her boyfriend is having an affair. A few weeks later, she lives with her mother Lainie and Sofia struggles to get excited about life. To get her daughter back on track, Lainie enrolls them both in a cooking class at a local restaurant. There, Sofia attracts the attention of Matias, a chef who assists in class. He sees something special in Sofia and wants to get to know her better. However, because of her past, Sofia is not sure if she is ready for a new relationship.

Mediocre romcom level Hallmark. Not top performances, but nicely acted. Some Spanish approach with some words and dishes. Otherwise a typical love story. Not much original, ideal for an everyday film. Had no real emotions with this story, no sparks flying off the screen. Riley Dandy seems sweet. Gonzales Rossi is a bit too modest, but perhaps that is his role. 3*
