"Finding your way through the frost."

A priest who leaves his cheating wife moves with his school-age son to a small town in Kainuu, where he plans to start a new life. However, he is not warmly received by the small community. The apartment that should have been furnished is empty. The father immediately becomes the talking point of the village and the son is bullied at school. The future of life here for the two looks hopeless.
