In 1982, fourteen-year-old Kalinka passed away. The cardiologist Dr. Krombach found her lifeless body. His statement and the autopsy report did not reassure Kalinka's father. For years he fought in France and Germany to bring Krombach to justice. When this had still not succeeded after 27 years, he decided to take drastic measures.

A beautiful documentary about someone who spends his entire life seeking justice to bring his daughter's murderer to justice, and because nothing happens, he takes matters into his own hands. Of course, it's not allowed, but in this case, it's perfectly understandable. I'm not going to say anything, but it's still a disgrace how some men get away with rape...

Good documentary, in the beginning a bit of repeating identical information, but as a whole this remarkable story is interesting and fascinating to follow.
The tenacity of a father to see justice done, as well as the diversity and complexity of the judiciary across two countries, are notable points in the film.
