Vers la Tendresse plot
Four men from the Parisian suburbs talk about their masculinity, both their macho facades and the fundamental desire for love. The men behave like society and their friends expect "men" to behave. However, their inner monologues reveal other desires. This documentary exposes how macho ideals have affected the minds and souls of young men.

Documentary maker - but also author of "Saint-Omer" winner of the Grand Prix for feature films at the Ghent Film Festival 2022, gives an example here of her interest in social conditions in our society.
Here a number of young people are discussed, some of whom have built up a hard attitude in their life in the slums of the big city: total contempt for the woman who is seen only as a useful object, banned from any form of close love ("My father respected my mother, but never noticed that they loved each other"), to the lack of any ambition to gain access to a better environment, on the contrary...
Others see it a bit more faithful and rosy, but a lot of conviction...?
