El Dios de Madera plot

Yao and Rachid are two immigrants who arrive illegally in the Spanish municipality of Valencia. Yao sells illegal DVDs on the street and roams the neighborhood lonely until he sees divorced María Luisa working in her boutique. She is tense, irritable and lives with her gay son Róber, who, like so many other things in life, disappoints her. Meanwhile, Rachid works as a hairstylist in a beauty salon, unaware that Róber is hopelessly in love with him. When Yao goes to sleep in the same flat as Róber's, a confrontation between Yao and Maria seems inevitable.
