When the Primm family moves to New York City, their young son Josh struggles to adjust to his new school and friends. That all changes when he discovers Lyle, a singing crocodile who loves baths, caviar and great music. The two quickly become friends, but Lyle's existence is threatened by evil neighbor Mr. grumps. The Primms will have to team up with Lyle's charismatic owner, Hector P. Valenti, to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places. And that there is of course nothing wrong with a big singing crocodile with an even bigger personality.

Watched this family movie once and thought it was a nice movie. It was the Flemish version, so the songs were dubbed.
The story itself was fun and funny. Lyle was also well made. The film is a bit less grand than The Greatest Showman, but it was still a bit magical.
A great family film for young and old.

It's about a crocodile with human features. He understands you when you talk to him but can't talk himself. He can sing very well again. So there is a lot of singing in the film, but fortunately these are always small parts. The description above states that the son is struggling with acceptance at the new school. This is just a very small item in the film. Is mainly about the pleasure that the reptile brings to the current residents. Good film about a family that moves into a new house without knowing that something lives in the attic. Despite a somewhat clichéd course, this can be called an original film. A cheerful, musical family film about a singing crocodile who brings out the best in people. The cgi crocodile looks good. An entertaining role by Javier Bardem.
