Black Wood plot

After her family is murdered, Dowanhowee, a Native American woman, travels west alone. She stumbles upon a run-down town and crosses paths with a notorious outlaw gang known as the Dutch Wilder Gang. She discovers that one of the men is riding a horse that belonged to a member of her killed family. Dowanhowee takes revenge on the horse thief and escapes the gang by fleeing to an unknown area known as the Black Forest. Once in this mysterious region, Dowanhowee is captured by the Dutch Wilder Gang, and after a brutal interrogation, the men find her valuable and force her to help them find a hidden gold vein. Not long after their journey, they soon discover that they must team up and fight for their lives, as they have unknowingly awakened an ancient starving creature known as the Wendigo.
