Laura and Bruno, a married couple in their 40s, don't get along very well anymore. Their sex life is on the back burner and to save their marriage, they leave the suburbs and go to a three-day mountain retreat for couples. There they are guided by the infamous relationship and sexual healing guru Bjorg Rasmussen. Laura and Bruno's road to reconnection is laced with humiliation and strange situations as they try to find themselves and each other again.

Bland comedy that never really gets funny. The film is set in a fictional country and is spoken in a fake language that sounds rather Scandinavian. This is a gimmick that otherwise seems rather lost. There are still some weird elements that are quite forced, but it is not a coherent whole. The story is also rather thin. Jermaine Clement does have a typical role for him as a sex guru, but he also doesn't manage to raise the whole thing above mediocrity.
