Ji-woo is an outcast at an elite college because of his humble origins. For that reason alone, his class teacher would rather lose him than get rich. In addition, Ji-woo has problems with math. When he is banned from the communal dormitory for a petty infraction, Ji-woo ends up in the small shelter of the school guard, a North Korean defector. By accident, Ji-woo discovers that the guard is an expert at math.
