Strange for me to read all the negative comments here. Thought it was a very entertaining film and a beautiful portrayal of the era. Acting was very good, nice camera shots and sometimes very refined humour.

Weird movie. I read some things about this film that quite a bit is said here about politics and then with a link to the current time. It will probably, but then I want an enjoyable film. Although the decor is quite okay, the atmosphere is just weird, the acting is strange (especially Bale) and the story goes in all directions (to put it mildly, both in tone and content, very chaotic) and the film doesn't touch me anywhere. Only at the end of that speechfrom a remarkably strong DeNiro. And the final point is not so exciting. In the end, the film drags on and becomes boring. Nice to see Taylor Swift, but she's not really brilliant. Just like the whole cast is a bit disappointing. Lots of big names but a lame script. Fortunately there is still Margot Robbie, what a charisma she has here. 1.5*.

Big disappointment from director David O. Russell. It is not due to the impressive cast and the film is visually attractive, but the characters are not fascinating and the plot is not at all. And it all takes way too long. Crazy leading role for Christian Bale, by the way, who puts down a kind of Al Pacino parody here. That doesn't work either.
